What You Will Do

We’re looking for an ambitious Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team in Hanoi to be the lead on architecting our content marketing team in an emerging market such as Vietnam. You will build expertise in the fast-growing arenas of competitive/market intelligence and product marketing. Not only does this person need to be a phenomenal copywriter, she/he also needs to be able to develop a clear understanding of our target customer, and communicate complex ideas to a broad audience with varying levels of experience.

Responsibilities:
As a Digital Marketing and Content Manager, you will be responsible for leading our digital marketing efforts and website optimization strategy, increasing brand awareness, and creating stronger customer engagement through development of creative technical content across all channels. You will work closely with google analytics and good search console. Your role will be broken into three parts:

Content Strategist:
• Creates SEO writing structure and creates topics to delegate to writers
• Comes up with content projects that meet content and company goals (gated content, SEO, cluster/pillar content)
• Manages Freelance writers
• Conduct Keyword research
• Prioritizes site audit tasks(on page, technical, off-page)
• Coordinates with backlinking team
• Ensures KPIs (Domain rating) are being met
• Relinking series of articles once they are published
• Establishes long-term vision/road map of content team and methods of getting there
• Ensures team is meeting objectives by clearing road blocks, providing tools and establishing high-performance work environment
• Helps onboard content writer and editor
• Coordinates with project manager, designers and developers
• Develop skills/responsibilities of the content team
• Delegates tasks to writers
• Conduct meetings and updates to content team

Editor/On-Page SEO Specialist
• Ensures freelance/content writer’s work meets editorial standards for each brand (house style guide)
• Inputs pictures and makes design suggestions for sections
• Improves writing structure where needed and ensures content is coherent and unique
• Ensures CTAs, title and meta descriptions are compelling
• Publishes articles
• Writes high profile work
• Ensures keywords/key-phrases are inputted correctly (title, headers, sub-headers, meta)
• Inputs internal/external links with right anchor text and that follow editorial guidelines
• Change image name to keyword and create alt tex
• Publishes articles according to SEO practice
• Provides directions and feedback to content writer according to editorial standards
• Contributes to open collaborative work environment

Copy Writer (when needed)
• Writes copy for sales and marketing in the tone of persuasion
• Use words and language to convince readers to take action
• Sales writing for advertisements, sales copy, emails, print ads, digital ads, brochures, and landing pages
• Understand the needs of the target audience and use language to inspire confidence in the brand
• Use the appropriate brand “voice” to connect with readers
• Research a business and understand its marketing goals.
• Write copy that is easy to understand, free of jargon, and never boring
• Explain complicated ideas clearly and make it easy to understand
• Know how to use storytelling to stir emotions in the reader.
• Stick to the brief and deadlines outlined by the client
• Work with the client until they’re happy with the copy
• Write in different voices and in different styles as directed for each task (copywriting, informative writing)
• Input keywords into structure (title, headers, body, meta description)
• Include Focus Keywords and optimize according to Yoast SEO
• Make sure writing is unique and not plagiarizing (avoiding duplicate content)
• Provides high DA sources for writing

What You Are Good At

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Professional Writing, English, Technical Writing, Communications, or similar field.
• 2+ years working in content strategy including creating content for advertising, marketing, and sales
• Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
• Intimate knowledge of Google analytics and Google search console
• Has worked as part of a collaborative remote team
• Has shown to have good judgment and open communication.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Very high standard of communication skills both written and oral for the presentation of facts and ideas in Vietnamese and English
