Advesa Digital is seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our team. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that increase brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive traffic and leads to our website. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, and will work with both clients and the Advesa brand.

In this role, you will collaborate with our client services team to create content that resonates with our clients’ target audiences and supports their business goals. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs and objectives and develop content that meets them. You will also collaborate with our design team to ensure all content is visually appealing and aligned with our client’s brand guidelines.

In addition to working with clients, you will also be responsible for building the Advesa brand through effective content marketing strategies. You will develop a variety of content formats, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, social media posts, email campaigns, and other digital content, all with an eye towards increasing brand awareness and driving traffic and leads to our website.

You will ensure that our content is optimized for search engines and aligned with Advesa Digital’s SEO strategy. You will conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities and analyze content performance metrics to optimize future content marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies that align with company goals and objectives, as well as those of our clients
  • Create a variety of content formats, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, social media posts, email campaigns, and other digital content, both for the company and for clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all content is aligned with brand messaging and tone, as well as those of our clients
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and goals, and develop content that meets those needs
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities for both the company and our clients
  • Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize future content marketing initiatives, both for the company and for our clients
  • Work with SEO team to ensure all content is optimized for search engines and aligned with SEO strategy
  • Manage a team of content creators and freelancers, ensuring all content is high-quality and aligns with brand voice and tone, as well as those of our clients

Requirements:

  • At least 3 – 5 years of experience in content marketing (either through personal passion projects, professional experience, or a combination of the two) and a portfolio to match
  • A marketing/communications degree or diploma is valuable, but not essential if you have the right experience 
  • Excellent grasp of the English language is essential – including humour, tone of voice and the nuances of the language  
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, teammates or partners to bring your vision to life. 
  • You have a deep knowledge of SEO principles and reporting, SEO tools, and content marketing optimization
  • Experience with an email marketing client (MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo etc.) is a bonus
