Advesa Digital is seeking for a highly skilled Content Writer who possesses exceptional attention to detail. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for editing marketing copy and ensuring that it is free of errors while also making it more compelling and engaging. Working alongside our Content Strategist, you will help to develop strong, effective, and error-free marketing copy for our brand.

We are looking for a candidate who has a solid command of the English language and can adhere to the rules of grammar and spelling. Additionally, you should possess a fundamental understanding of writing for sales and have a creative mind that can turn good copy into great copy. The ability to create headlines that sell is also a must-have skill.

To excel in this role, you must be able to work under tight deadlines and thrive in the fast-paced eCommerce industry. Collaboration with writers of varying skill levels is also essential, as you will be required to make necessary adjustments that turn interested parties into paying customers. Previous experience in copywriting and editing is essential to be considered for this position.

Key responsibilities:

  • Writing and editing various types of sales copy that includes but not limited to; landing pages, blogs, email campaigns, social media captions, eCommerce websites
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone) for various brands
  • Reviewing and removing non-compliant content and false claims across diverse products and industries
  • Coming up with strategies to improve the editorial team as a whole
  • Involves coordinating and integrating graphic design, video, and copy to showcase the product optimally
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Edit, optimize and publish work from freelance writers
  • Working knowledge of social media interfaces, digital graphic design, basic HTML and blogging platforms such as WordPress is an asset


  • Have at least 2+ years of agency or in-house copywriting experience
  • Have ample experience crafting and communicating compelling value propositions
  • Possess a copywriting portfolio that demonstrates the skills required to capture an audience and motivate action (brand awareness campaigns, events, websites, email funnels, and other non-PPC digital campaigns)
  • Be skilled in understanding and crafting tailored messaging to varied audience segments
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, compliance, media buying, social media platforms, and analytics tools is an asset
  • Bring an expert ability to write for readability, clarity, voice, tone, and branding
  • Be detail-oriented, well-organized, and hyper-efficient with time management
  • Exhibit excellent editing skills and the ability to provide and accept feedback without ego
  • Played a key role in executing copy for a marketing campaign or product launch in collaboration with marketing and creative teams
  • Motivated to learn and progress, with either relevant professional experience or a post-secondary education and a willingness to seek out skill development opportunities
